"Mommy I don't like camp. I LOVEEEE camp!" This is the response I got from my 7 year old son. This is his first summer going but I can tell you it will be the summer camp I send him to from now on! It is amazing how much he enjoys it. I put him in Goddard last year but he didn't enjoy it that much. I am very impressed with how much he enjoys this camp. Everyday he is excited to tell me what they did at camp and how much fun he had. He even asks if he can stay longer!!! If I let him he would sleep there he loves it so much. The staff is really great as well. They are so patient and kind and wonderful with the kids! There is plenty of staff also so you never have to worry about your child not being properly supervised or not getting the attention that your child deserves. I love this place!!!!

American Karate Studio has been a great experience for my 6 year old. They are clean and professional. They are great with my daughter, patient and kind instructors. The staff makes it feel like a family experience. I highly recommend this studio for the little ones!

I will definitely recommend this place. My son started visit remote learning program and summer camp in 2021. A stuff of teachers is awesome! Karate teachers Mr. Darrel and Mr. Mauricio make a great job. When my 6 y.o. kid got his first promotion he was so proud of himself!

The Newark Summer Camp at American Karate Studios is now hiring coaches, teachers, and counselors who love working with children, ages 5 to 12!

Our motto is “We are the BEST!” This means that we have the best kids, the best company, and of course, the BEST Instructors/Coaches!

To qualify for our amazing team, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be over the age of 18.
  • Must have a clean criminal background and pass a background screening.
  • Must have experience teaching or facilitating sports activities and drills.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have access to a smart phone or computer for regular email communication.
  • Must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude for success! 🙂

This awesome job will offer a minimum of 25 hours per week at $12.00 to $15.00 per hour. We also offer paid training and much more!
